Each stage has a garment detail to resolve. The sample and order specifications provide the reference for the review points below.

  1. Production team comparing a denim garment with product references

    Product development

Reviewing the reference garment and design details. Compare the silhouette, pockets and construction with the supplied reference images or specifications.

Before sampling: Clarify fabric, wash and construction details that are still missing.

  2. Paper patterns being compared with a denim sample

    Pattern & sampling

Preparing the pattern and reviewing a physical sample. The sample makes the garment shape and construction available for buyer review.

Before approval: Review the sample and measurements with the buyer; confirm the size requirements for their market.

  3. Denim fabric roll and color references on a preparation table

    Fabric preparation

Laying out the selected denim for the style. Fabric and color references are kept with the product details.

Before cutting: Compare the fabric selection with the approved style and order plan.

  4. Denim panels being cut along paper patterns

Cutting denim panels to the approved pattern. The cut pieces form the garment body and its smaller components.

Before sewing: Review the panel shapes against the pattern and the order size plan.

Before finishing: Review the construction, seam alignment and pocket stitching.

  6. Denim jeans being pressed and visually reviewed

    Finishing

Pressing denim garments and reviewing their appearance. The garment finish is compared with the approved sample and wash direction.

Before final review: Check the visible finish, seams and loose threads.
